Wedding Ring Photography in Bad Urach, Germany

I am a big traveler (if you haven’t noticed), and for the last couple years my husband David and I have been living abroad. Right now, we’re spending the month of July in a little town called Bad Urach in southern Germany. It’s the most beautiful place. Everywhere you look, there’s the classic wooden beam architecture that you associate with Germany. And because it’s summer everything is in bloom! It’s just gorgeous.
If you’re thinking about planning a European destination wedding, Germany’s state of Baden-Württemberg would be a great choice. The Black Forest (aka the setting for many of the Brothers Grimm fairytales) is here which would be an incredible spot for an outdoor forest wedding. And it seems everywhere you look has old, pretty churches. There are even castles here. Real live castles! The American in me is pretty stoked about that.
I know, for example, that you can rent out sections of Lichtenstein Castle near Reutlingen, Germany as a destination wedding venue. Could there be a more romantic place to get married than a castle??
Baden-Württemberg doesn’t just have wedding potential on a grand scale. It’s also gorgeous in all its little details. I decided to take advantage of the pretty nature around me here in Bad Urach and shoot a few photos of my own wedding rings! Check them out below!
